Heath Hitchcock
Heath gained much of his performing experience while at The Peabody Conservatory
in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that he received his Master's Degree in
Music Performance while studying under Julian Gray. Heath studied and performed
with Glenn Lyons, professor of classical guitar, while at West Chester University
in Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. Heath
has performed widely in the Baltimore area as part of the flute and guitar duet,
Calliope and Windwood. After returning to the Lehigh Valley, he joined flautist
Catherine Debosser and performed locally with her. From the Baltimore Aquarium
to upscale restaurants, coffee houses, weddings and dinner parties, Heath now
performs solo classical guitar at a wide range of venues. He is currently a faculty
member at the Community Music School in Allentown, Pennsylvania, teaches private
students at several other Lehigh Valley locations and is at work on his first
solo CD.
