Dec. 16th:
Friday evening's
Winter Holiday Concert was delightful, attended
by parents and friends of the Liberty High School Chorus & Orchestra.
Tom had the pleasure of playing five selections, accompanying both
the
Women's
and Men's Ensembles and the Choraliers.
The Combined Choirs,
led by Nancy Shumaker and Gayle Justice, displayed the fruition of
month's
of work, by presenting a well-balanced blending of their talented
voices. Accompanied, as well, by the Liberty High School Orchestra
(led by
Greg MacGill), the entire audience was enthralled by the sounds
that reverberated throughout the Memorial Gymnasium. 'Tis the Time
of Yuletide Glee by Thomas Morley, as performed by the A Cappella
Singers, proved to be an audience favorite. The concert ended with
Handel's Hallelujah!, as perfomed by the Combined Choirs
and Orchestra. A good time was had by all! |
